Blend with Bazzill: Missing You These Holidays

The holidays can be a hard time to be away from family! This is a great card to send a family member to show you care! It is such a fun design that can be used all through out the winter!

I knew I wanted to use Bazzill’s Card Shoppe paper that was made for coloring and stamping on. It won’t bleed through and has the smoothest finish!

So, I started out by stamping and cutting out these Winter Penguins by stamping them twice on the Marshmallow Card Shoppe paper. Coloring them in has never been easier. Tim Holtz’ Distress Marker ‘Barn Door’ is the perfect red to match the Merry & Bright patterned paper by Pink Paislee. These markers are perfect to add a water brush to, but in this case I just colored it in once and then swiped again in the shadow areas to darken.

I popped these little guys up on their “snow hill” with dimensional adhesive as close as I could get them together so that they look like they are holding hands.

After white embossing the snowflakes from the same set, I stamped the sentiment. Now it is ready to send!
