Halloween is such a fun time of year to decorate the home! Really, anything goes…from the scary witches and ghosts to elegant white and black pumpkins with touches of silver or gold.
This year I decided to create some Halloween luminaries or lanterns for display on my fireplace mantel.
I created the windows and ghost border design with my Brother ScanNCut. But you could easily take a 6″ x 12″ piece of Raven and cut out 4 rectangular windows yourself, plus punch a cool border along the top edge.
Then place a strong adhesive along one edge of the lantern….American Crafts Sticky Thumb double-sided super sticky red tape works great!
Now just place a battery operated tea light inside….and it glows! I love how the Yellow Mylar has a green tint with the light!
Happy Halloween….and Happy Crafting!
