Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing a layout that shows how easy it is to create wonderful layers and textures on a scrapbook layout.
To design this layout, I knew that layers with texture would really show off the photo well. So I started with Marshmallow cardstock and heat embossed stamped images of leaves.
I’ve really been into watercolor lately, so I decided to create a watercolor effect using Heidi Swapp Color Shine. It is really pretty with the shimmer. I sprayed Chartreuse and Gold Color Shine over the embossed leaves, which resist the color and show through.
On top of this I wanted an eye catching photo mat, so I dry embossed another piece of Marshmallow with the We R Memory Keeper trees embossing folder and Evolution Die cut machine.
I placed my photo on top of all these layers.
My final layer was a Gold Mylar heart, which I cut out and then journaled on with a permanent marker.
With gold sticker alphabet letters for my title, my layered design was complete.
I hope this beautiful Fall weather continues and we don’t see snow just yet!
