Beautiful Windows using Bazzill Card Shoppe

Cindy Lyles, blogger on Star Lit Studios, created this stunning window card using Bazzill’s Wayfarer collection by Janet Hopkins and Bazzill’s new line of heavy weight cardstock called Card Shoppe.

Inspired by Kittie Caracciolo and her amazing work with Memory Box and poppystamps dies – Cindy opened her packages of the grand window and shutter, and was amazed at the detail in the die-cut images.

She said she had to google ‘shutters’ to see how they are attached to a house, becasue she doesn’t have shutters on her house and she have binoculars handy to examine the neighbor’s house across the street.

Cindy cut 3/4-inch strips of Bazzill Card Shop Taffy and layered them – exposing 1/2-inch on each, last strip at the top was 1/2-inch in height.  Window interior paper is Bazzill Wayfarer 6×6.  Finished card size is 4.5 x 6 inches; sentiment is Papertrey Ink.
After she created this card she said she was visiting a friend, and noticed she has (non-functioning/decoration only) shutters but they are not attached to the window frame moulding, but to the house itself.  So in the end, attaching the shutters either way would be okay.
