Mother’s Day Album Idea
Heidi Lynn Schreiber designed this album for Mother’s Day. The 8×8 and 9×12 Chipboard Albums and divider are the perfect backdrop for this gift to Heidi’s mom.
The album is covered in cardstock and now this is really easy to do with Bazzill’s 24×12 sheets. This paper makes covering large surfaces really simple and there is no need for piecing cardstock and trying to cover the seam. Heidi decorated the album with a strip of patterned paper and pulled her favorite colors from the design and found Bazzill colors to match. She created a title and embellished everything with Bazzill’s Paper Flowers and Leaves and a few brads.
The inside of the album is built like a board book. Heidi Lynn decorated the dividers with cardstock to match her color theme, but there is pre-cut divider covers available if you don’t … Read More »
Vintage Marketplace Layout
Scrapbook designer and Bazzill employee Susan Mast created this darling “Remember” layout using the new Vintage Marketplace collection by Margie Romney-Aslett.
Susan created a layout that highlights the vintage feel of this paper. The simple patchwork design creates a beautiful collage effect. She also used the Vintage Marketplace stickers in combination with paper flowers and buttons to add the perfect finishing touch.
Decoupage Easter Egg
Margie Romney-Aslett created a last minute Easter project that you can whip up for your festivities tomorrow and have for years to come.
Locate a piece of styrofoam in the shape of an egg, or some of the left over plastic eggs from last year’s Easter egg hunt. Cut pieces of Bazzill’s Vintage Marketplace patterned paper into squares and Mod Podge them to the egg to create a patchwork. Margie added a bow with a variety of Bazzill and May Arts ribbon and added a rectangle piece of the popular Bazzill Antique Paper (woo hoo! no more ruining books!). There is something about that simple touch that makes it look modernly-vintage.
The cute pedestal display stand is a tea cup saucer glued to a candlestick. You might have the supplies to do that too…
Happy Easter!
Vintage Marketplace Chalkboard
It is so much fun to wander around the internet and discover beautiful projects using Bazzill’s Vintage Marketplace paper. Today we are featuring a stand up chalkboard created by Bona Rivera-Tran.
She says her girls love it when their sister Natalie bakes them yummy treats so she thought it would be fun for Natalie to have a chalkboard to write what she’s going to bake and then display it on the kitchen counter. It would be just like all the fancy restaurants use to post the “Today’s Special.” She says her girls can’t wait for Natalie to write down the first treat she is going to bake.

April is Vintage Marketplace Month!
Have you seen Bazzill’s patterned paper collection by Margie Romney-Aslett? It is pretty cute, especially if you love anything with a girly-vintage-vibe.
There is paper sold by the sheet or in a multipack, coordinating cardstock colors…
and there are stickers printed on nice thick cardstock…
and cute buttons, paper tape, flowers, 4×6 journaling cards…
The fun thing about the 6×6 Vintage Marketplace paper is that the design is half the size of what is on the bulk and the 12×12 multipack. This is the only way to get this teeny tiny design. It is perfect for card makers.
Check back during the month to see all kinds of projects using this beautiful collection! It can find it at a local scrapbook store near you!
Wedding bouquet made from Bazzill cardstock
The girls in customer service talk to so many people about the wonderful projects they will be making, that it is really fun when we get to see photos of the end result!
Donna, owner of Confetti/Felicity in Atlanta sent in these photos of a bride’s bouquet, bridesmaid’s bouquet, groom’s corsage, and bridesmaid’s gift boxes her team put together for a wedding. All of flowers were made from Bazzill cardstock and Donna added the vintage buttons to the flower centers. She said her hands still cramp at the thought of this project.
But isn’t it lovely?
A special thanks to In The Moment Photographs for sharing these photos.
Avalon Collection – Grand Finale
We stumbled across this grand finale project using paper from Bazzill’s Avalon collection. This is really a wonderful way to end an entire month of projects using such a happy line of designs by Amanda Herring from the Quilted Fish.
Betsy Veldman posted this project on her blog called Paper, Scissors and Superheros. Take a close look. The card is incredible. The sewing to create a three dimensional apple is brilliant…
Betsy created this card as part of the Paper Crafts magazine Go-to Gal designer challenge. Once a month they challenge each other to create a project featuring a certain manufacturer, and this time they were excited to see they picked Bazzill (and we were excited they picked us!). There’s no pressure, it’s just for fun, and whoever has the time to play along, plays along!
This card is all Bazzill with the … Read More »
