I love keeping cards and notes from my boys. Trouble is there are so many notes I don’t know where to store them all!
Enter the WRMK 123 Punch board! Recently my oldest gave my husband the cutest Fathers Day card that he had made at school and I wanted to keep it safe for future memory keeping, so I decided to use the 123 Punch Board and create an envelope to add to my layout to store the card. I love that the Punch Board can make envelopes in any size that is required!
So I began with my background – a sheet of White Double thick card. It created a sturdy base to hold the slight bulkiness of the envelope. I then added my photos and embellishments.
I took a piece of Heidi Swapp Favorite Things pattern paper and created my envelope then layered over my photo and attached them with a clip. I added the Wood Veneer arrow as a catch to hold closed the envelope.
I love that the Fathers Day card is hidden in the envelope but we can still have access to it when needed.
Now using the Punch board really is as easy as 123!
Following the cutting guide on the punch board trim your pattern paper according to the size of the envelope you want.
Score and punch four times on each side of the pattern paper.
Round the corners of the paper by using the corner rounder on the Punch board.
To complete tape three sides together using some double sided tape like Sticky Thumbs double sided tape from American Crafts.
It really is so very easy to use the 123 Punch Board on your next layout to create a place for hidden journaling or ephemera! I cant wait to see what you create!
