It’s the time of year to think spring and make some Easter cards! I decided to go “Cute” and create a paper pieced chick and egg from simple shapes and Orange Peel cardstock.
Although I used my Brother ScanNCut to cut out the pieces, they can be cut by hand or with any other electronic cutting machine. The chick and egg are basically oval shapes.
Here are the 5 easy steps so you can make this card in minutes!
Step 2: Cut out your chick pieces from Lemon Drop.
Step 3: Cut out two strips of grass from Nathan.
Step 4: Cut out your egg from white cardstock (I used Marshmallow).
I really love the subtle texture of the Orange Peel cardstock, which is perfect for this Easter card. Actually, change the sentiment to “Welcome Baby” and you have an adorable baby card, too!
