New Year: Document You Goals

By Gail LindnerInspiration, Layouts, Comments are off

Now that the festivities of Christmas are over, it’s time to focus our attention on the coming year! One thing I like to do each year is think about some goals for the next year. I do choose a “word” for the year and my goals are usually related to it. And we all know that we are more likely to achieve our goals if we write them down right? Why not document them on a scrapbook layout!

I kept the layout very simple and using colors that I love! I used a subtle patterned paper background and added strips of white Bazzill Basics cardstock over the center for some interest. These turned out to be the perfect place for adding my journaling!

I added a splash of bright pink and gold to my layout. One of my favorite custom embellishments is to die cut a ‘bow’ from Bazzill cardstock in a coordinating color – works every time! I snapped a few selfies on my phone (using a photobooth app) to add to my layout.

My word for 2016 is THRIVE. I want to try my hardest always to improve and encourage my family to do the same!

I look forward to sharing more projects on the Bazzill Basics blog next year! Happy New Year everyone!
