How simple are those circles? That is an idea easy to repeat! Kelli Collins didn’t even use printed paper in this layout. She picked a few colors she liked, used the colors to print out a title on her computer, cut a few circles out of coordinating Bazzill cardstock and added buttons. Done.

When the paper designs get busy, use Amy Totty’s trick: Leave plenty of wide open spaces of color. This layout wouldn’t work without the vast expanse of brown to give your eye a place to rest. The border of blue around the black and white baby photo is important for the same reason.
