We are all about the parties here on the Bazzill Blog this week! I am excited to share a super fun project you can create for your next party using the super cool Bazzill Embossable Plastic Paper.

Happy Birthday Straws by Jennifer Ingle #BazzillBasics #JustJingle

To create these fun party favor straws, you will want to begin with the three colors of Bazzill Basics plastic paper. I used a template to trace and cut my tags to fit over my straws, but you could likely do this with a die of some kind, as well. I cut a few from each of the three colors, which coordinate perfectly with the straws that I happened to have! YAY!

After cutting out the tags, I embossed them with the We R Memory Keepers Next Level ABC 123 embossing folder. I LOVE how clearly the numbers popped out after they were embossed on the plastic paper! They look awesome!

After embossing all of the tags, I added holes on each end to insert the straw. The Crop-A-dile cuts through the plastic paper like butter!

I then punched circles from Marshmallow Card Shoppe Cardstock and die cut a lot of H’s and B’s from Licorice Card Shoppe Cardstock to layer onto my tags.

Before adhering the circles, I stamped color into the center of each white circle to add more punch. I then adhered the circles to the tags and added the letters over the dotted centers.

Finally, I simply slid the tags onto the straws and created a fun display so these are not only fun favors, but they make a great piece of party decor, as well!

If you haven’t played with the plastic paper yet, you really must give it a try! The embossability is just AMAZING!

Have a Happy!
